Piave Vecchio canapés

  • 100 g (4 oz) Piave Extra Aged grated
  • 4 slices of toasted bread
  • 4 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 glass (4 oz) dry white wine
  • 20 g (1 oz) butter
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper to taste


4 servings – Easy

Toast the bread and keep warm. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg and wine very well. Add grated Piave Extra Aged, heavy cream, salt and pepper and mix well. Place butter in a pan, add prepared mix and cook rapidly, stirring constantly until a homogeneous, smooth, lump less cream is obtained. Arrange canapés on plates, distribute the cream, add more pepper and serve.
